ICFO – Leader in quantum sensing and in particular magnetometry, with a strong track record of invention and commercialization of quantum technologies. They bring extensive experience with optical and atomic physics, quantum sensing, and OPM. The group has made pioneering contributions to the study and control of photonic quantum noise in atomic vapor magnetometers, etc.

AALTO Univeristy – Birthplace of whole-scalp MEG and MEGIN company (established as Neuromag Ltd.). Multiple research groups in AALTO are routinely using SQUID-based MEG. They are developing MEG instrumentation, analysis methods and their software implementation as well as applying them to basic neuroscience and translating them to clinical researchers. The group has demonstrated the utility of on-scalp (OPM-based) MEG by simulations.

MEGIN – Global market leader in MEG systems with an installed base close to 100 systems, and customers in high-end neuroscience centres as well as prestigious university clinics. MEGIN has a long track record of ground-breaking innovations in MEG instrumentation and signal processing. MEGIN has been working in close collaboration with Aalto University in developing MEG hardware and methodological MEG improvements, such as novel interference suppression methods.

VIGO – Supplies a wide range of products for the semiconductor market. The company’s core business group incorporates a complete production line of IR detectors and modules, backed with decades of manufacturing experience. VIGO delivers off-the-shelf, OEM, and non-standard solutions allowing customers to develop products dedicated to their applications. The company’s second business group, a III-V epi-foundry, provides materials for the photonics and microelectronics industry (GaAs and InP based epitaxial wafers). This group focuses on providing top-performing as well as cost-effective products. The company has succeeded in developing unparalleled epi-structures for lasers, transistors, and photodetectors, helping its clients gain and maintain a competitive edge. VIGO is able to manufacture VCSEL prototypes in quick epitaxy processing iterations.
